Shakir Zuberi is the President of Project-Management International.  He offers over 25 years of multi-disciplinary major project management experience including regulatory compliance, hazardous waste cleanup and site restoration, quality assurance, business development, and project development.  He has developed and implemented management control systems, quality assurance and health and safety programs on major contracts, both in the USA and abroad.

He offers full understanding of operating P/L concepts and hands-on experience in project planning, execution, control, and closure.  He has presented technical papers at major international symposiums on applied project management and environmental restoration topics.  For Project Management Institute (PMI), he has developed Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and led others to introduce Contract and Procurement management as a PMBOK discipline.  He has served as State Advisor to the United States Congressional Advisory Board.  He is a recipient of the Distinguished Toastmaster (highest public speaking) award from Toastmasters International.  He currently serves as a member of Gerson Lehrman Investment Group's Council of Energy Advisors and the Project Management Institute Columbia River Basin Chapter Board of Directors.

He earned an undergraduate degree in geology, a Masters in International Business and an MBA.

Based on the needs of each assignment, cost effective technical and professional resources are assigned either by utilizing P-M Int'l resources internally or by teaming arrangements with other experts and companies externally for the duration of the task.
